History

CometFans was founded in 1975, and since 1992 manufactures impellers and axial fans for all main railway and industrial applications.
Over the years, the company has gradually increased its product range and its presence on the market to become one of the leading European manufacturers in the fan industry.

Some significant milestones:

1995: Achievement of ISO9001
1996: Delivery of the impeller number 10,000
1999: Transfer to Solaro headquarters, north of Milan
2001: Registration of the technical file for the ATEX II2G and II2D certification
2003: Introduction of the AFT and AFH series
2003: Doubling of the production area

2008: Achievement of EN15085 / DIN6700 certification for Welding

2011: CometFans joins Microelettrica Scientifica – Knorr-Bremse Group
2016: Transfer to Buccinasco, in the headquarters of the mother-company Microelettrica
